The winners of the annual awards were announced at a glittering ceremony in London. Guests travelled from all over the world to the Park Plaza, on 27 November to celebrate the very best in learning technologies.

The Learning Technologies Awards is an international scheme which has been rewarding learning technologies excellence since 2005. Independently judged, the awards showcase some of the most recognizable, memorable, and life-changing learning technologies and elearning worldwide.
TUI’s Learnbot enables Leaders at TUI to quickly and intuitively address their skills gaps at the point of need by simply asking questions to Learning Pool’s chatbot – with further recommended learning offered alongside the answer to their initial question.
Commenting on the strength of the learnbot product, developed by Learning Pool for TUI, the category judges said:
“The learnbot is a result of a strong collaboration between a creative and ambitious development partner and brave and bold client and it really works! It’s very innovative, clearly meeting a business need and has re-engaged learners at TUI with self-development. It even recommends and curates on its own. Amongst many other things, the judges were impressed by the clever use of open source technologies for the product’s building blocks and taking an industry-agnostic tool and applying it to learning so effectively.”

As well as possessing the quickest wit in the industry, his talent and dedication have ensured the success of some of our largest and most high profile content projects. Combining an active interest in learning theory with a practical view of how users will engage with content, he consistently crafts learning experiences that bring our clients’ ambitions to life.”
