Take a look at some of the hottest new trends in learning with our year-long course, dipping in/out of the topics of interest to you as you go.

What “Elearning” is and means is one of the most hotly debated topics in our industry. To some it describes a self-paced, ‘click next’ course. To others it’s anything and everything that you can do deliver content online – others argue that it doesn’t even necessarily have to be online!

In this year-long conversation we start out by focusing initially on the term ‘elearning’ and considering what that means in 2016, before using each month of the year to a look at a current or emerging technology that could be used to enhance your practice.

  • Allow 1 hour per topic plus an extra hour for our live event with an industry expert.
  • Dip in and out of the course, completing open levels in any order you choose.
  • Follow the course conversation on Twitter using #LTMOOC16

Elearning Beyond the “Next” Button is unlike any of our other free courses as we’ll be adding a new level to the course each month throughout the year.

Starting with the Getting Started level in January, we hear from the CEO of HT2, Dr Ben Betts, who provides an insight into the structure of the course as well as considering how we can get the most out of this learning experience.

We’re then joined by a number of thought leaders and experts from across the industry as to what elearning/online learning means to them and what they believe the future holds.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in crowd-sourcing activities to identify as many tools, technologies, platforms, gadgets, gizmos that we could use to improve our practice.

It then up to you which months/topics to join as they open up throughout the rest of the year…
