Data Integration Apps
Power-up your Learning Locker with our range of apps to help integrate with your existing tech stack, making getting data in to and out of your LRS simple.
Apps to help you dive deeper into your learning analytics
If your organisation uses a Business Intelligence tool like Tableau or PowerBI, the BI Connector will allow you to feed your BI tool with a real-time data stream from Learning Locker.
For use with social learning initiatives, Semantic Analysis uses a proprietary algorithm to search through text contributions and derive insights into the quality of learners submissions. Used by organisations to judge the efficacy of social learning experiences, the app can work with any xAPI data source that conforms to our recipe for text data.
Apps to take the strain out of manual processes
Our business rules layer ships with every Learning Locker Enterprise installation without taking up one of your ‘app’ slots. Journeys allows you to specify complex patterns of user behaviour, visualising those persons who complete your journey requirements and automatically pushing out an API payload when the Journey is completed. Think of it as ‘if this, then that’, for xAPI.
Reach is a Learning Locker app that uses statements to trigger follow on actions, deliver personalized feedback and automate workflow.
Apps to take non-xAPI data into your Learning Locker
Skillsoft is one of the most widely used off-the-shelf content providers in the world. Your organisation might use Skillsoft as part of a subscription service.
Our SurveyMonkey integration takes data from any surveys that you author and distribute and saves the outcomes directly into the Learning Locker – every question, answer and submission.
Our Yammer integration takes conversation data collected in Yammer and converts it to xAPI for storage in Learning Locker.
The Integration Pipeline allows for multiple integrations with non-xAPI data to be made into Learning Locker.
Apps to help manage your learning data
The General Data Protection Regulation will start to be enforced in Europe from May 25th, 2018. After this date, companies who are not compliant with GDPR regulations could be liable for significant fines and other legal action. The GDPR app allows an individual to access their data for the purposes of meeting these requirements and can act as a central administration tool for organisations who are seeking to comply with GDPR.
The launchr app is a service that allows users to securely ‘launch’ xAPI content packages using an LRS proxy. The purpose of this app is to obscure the location of the real LRS for client-side data integrations.
CSV to xAPI
CSV to xAPI is a service that takes data in a spreadsheet format and converts it automatically to xAPI, inserting it into the Learning Locker.
You can use the short domain lrnloc.kr to create simple, shareable URLs to your resources that also send xAPI statements about usage back to your Learning Locker.
SCORM to xAPI
SCORM to xAPI allows administrators to upload a SCORM content package for playback on any LMS, whereby SCORM reporting data is transformed directly to the xAPI and stored in the LRS.
LL BOT is an experimental prototype that allows you to interact with your Learning Locker LRS via a chat bot. You can use services such as Slack, Telegram and Alexa.
Learning Locker Enterprise stores data for query up to two years. After the second year, older data can be deprecated to a Data Lake – which could be ours or yours.
